Baptisms usually take place on the 3rd Sunday of the month at 2.30 pm. Prior to the Baptism, in accordance with the Archbishops instructions, all parents (and if possible Godparents) must take part in the preparation for Baptism. This involves watching a video for about an hour and usually takes place on the 2nd Sunday of the month.
What we offer
The parish provides a baptismal candle for each child free of charge.
By negotiation, it is sometimes possible to have a baptism at a time or day other than the 3rd Sunday at 2.30pm.
Baptismal certificates are issued upon request and these may be needed for applications for school, weddings etc.Whats the next step
