Youth Club

Meeting weekly on Sunday evenings after the evening Mass - Various activities, such as football, snooker, crafts, games, barbecues and day trips.

Choir

Meets regularly to host an evening of hymns and Rosary, concluding with an enjoyable social time with refreshments.

Guild of St. Stephen

There is a flourishing tradition of Altar Serving in the Parish.  Several young people from each age group join the guild; their witness spreads to their whole families.

Legion of Mary

Engaged in spiritual and active work for the Church.  Working in pairs they perform invaluable tasks for the parish, such as maintaining the Parish Census, visiting the bereaved, lapsed and others on a spiritual basis.

Society of St. Vincent de Paul

Meets fortnightly on Mondays.  Working with total confidentiality they provide material and other support to the poor, the marginalized and the housebound.  They are also often involved in helping in times of bereavement.  Please contact Michael Griffith 0121 604 4601.


S.A.C (St. Ambrose Concern)

A Justice and Peace Group which meets monthly, concentrating on supporting developing countries through prayer, donations and the support of missionaries and volunteers.  Funds are sent regularly to organisations such as CAFOD, the Romania Orphanage Appeal and the Society of African Missions.

Traidcraft

A group of young people aged 14-18 are running each month a Traidcraft stall (www.Traidcraft.co.uk) after Sunday Mass.
All types of products are on sale and any profits sent to the undeveloped world.  See Diary page for dates.
